Intra-uterine Insemination (IUI) is normally offered to couples as a first form of fertility treatment because it is a relatively simple treatment that involves transferring a pool of sperm that has been processed and concentrated into the uterus to increase the chances of conception. The treatment is less complex and it can be done with or without fertility drugs.
