Rita Alesi is a Counselling Psychologist with almost 30 years’ experience as a psychologist and 25 of those years in an IVF setting. She is the Manager of the Counselling Services of Monash IVF Victoria and provides counselling and support for people requiring third party reproduction such as surrogacy and donor treatment. She has a special interest in female and male reproductive health and creating programs to help couples and individuals reduce and cope with the psychological impact and grief caused by their infertility. Rita holds membership with of the Fertility Society of Australia (FSA), Australian New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association ANZICA), Australian Psychological Society (APS), APS College of Counselling Psychologists. She is also a casual lecturer for the Monash University Master of Embryology program.
