Antagonist Schedule

Day 1 - Start of menstrual period :

If any of the scheduled visits to the Clinic falls on a Sunday or Public Holiday, please call us for advice on how to proceed.

  1. Day 2

    Come for hormone blood test and Vaginal Ultrasound scan to count & measure follicles. Start FSH injections

  2. Day 6

    Ultrasound scan to assess development of follicles and adjust dosage of FSH. Start Antagonist injection

  3. Day 9

    Ultrasound scan

  4. Day 10

    HCG injection when follicles mature

  5. Day 12

    Egg and sperm collection. Start Progesterone pessaries for uterine support

  6. Day 15

    Day 3 Embryo Transfer.

  7. Day 17

    Or Day 5 Transfer (Blastocyst)

  8. Day 27

    Blood Test for pregnancy
